Invisalign®We Are a Preferred Provider!

Invisalign Logo

If you are dissatisfied with the position of your teeth but do not want to spend years wearing conventional metal braces, consider Invisalign®—the clear alternative to metal braces. Invisalign’s transparent aligners are so subtle that people probably will not notice you are wearing braces. What they will notice is your straight smile afterwards!

How Does Invisalign Work?

Invisalign Teeth Straigtening

With a series of aligners that are switched out approximately every two weeks, Invisalign repositions teeth step by step. In the beginning, Dr. LaVecchia will take digital photographs and impressions of your teeth that will also be digitized. Using these images, he will plan tooth movements for your entire Invisalign treatment and show you a virtual representation of the process.

From Dr. LaVecchia’s precise plan, aligners will be custom made for each step of your Invisalign teeth straightening. The biocompatible thermoplastic aligner trays are comfortable for the sensitive tissues of your gums and cheeks, and patients really appreciate the ability to remove them when eating, brushing, and flossing.

Invisalign is an excellent solution for patients with mildly or moderately crowded teeth, widely spaced teeth, a crossbite (when one or more upper teeth bite on the inside of the lower teeth), an overbite, or an underbite. Call to schedule a complimentary Invisalign consultation with Dr. LaVecchia so he can create a custom Invisalign plan for your individual orthodontic needs! We know you are busy and your time is valuable, so we offer convenient appointment times and Invisalign works with your schedule. Most visits are quick, with an in-and-out progress check every 4-6 weeks.

Benefits Beyond Cosmetics

Rosslyn Invisalign

Getting straight teeth means getting a better looking smile, but the benefits go beyond cosmetics. Straight teeth make it easier to brush and floss correctly and thoroughly, which improves your overall oral health, and a properly aligned bite can even alleviate some of the discomfort associated with TMJ dysfunction.

What Does the Designation “Preferred Provider” Mean?

To be able to treat patients with Invisalign aligner therapy orthodontics, dentists must complete special Invisalign training sessions to become a provider. In order to be designated as a “Preferred Provider,” Dr. LaVecchia goes above and beyond the minimum requirements for providing Invisalign. He maintains regular submission of treatment cases, and he attends ongoing Invisalign training classes.
