Advanced Technologies
Digital X-rays & Digital Imaging
Digital x-rays are faster and more versatile than conventional x-rays, and they are comfortable for you. What we like most about digital x-rays is how they aid us to accurately diagnose your oral health needs, and how they do it with one quarter of the radiation exposure of conventional x-rays! With no chemical processing needed, digital technology helps us do our part to keep the environment safe, too.
We employ digital imaging, as well, to show you how fabulous your new and improved smile could look, before treatment even begins. A photo of your smile, taken quickly and conveniently in our office, can be enhanced and imaged to show you how cosmetic and restorative treatments could improve your smile! See below for an example:
Both digital x-rays and digital imaging allow our staff to better educate patients about their oral health needs and smile enhancement options. We believe that education is a very important part of making informed and wise decisions.
Tooth-Colored Fillings
Composite fillings can be adhesively held in place or “bonded.” Because they can be bonded to teeth, composite fillings allow for more conservative preparations where less healthy tooth structure is removed. This often results in smaller fillings than that of amalgam (silver fillings), and they are more natural looking! The tooth-colored material is cured with a special light and the surface is shaped and polished to match the tooth, rendering the final restoration virtually undetectable to the eye and very natural feeling in the mouth.

Powerful, Professional Teeth Whitening
In addition to giving you the benefit of a cleaner looking and more attractive smile, whiter teeth can also enhance your confidence and self-esteem. As a bonus, whitening can lead to healthier teeth because when your teeth look better, you tend to take better care of them to keep them looking terrific. Ask us about brightening your smile at your next visit. We offer both convenient take home whitening solutions (with custom trays) and powerful in-office whitening systems, including Deep Bleaching™ and ZOOM!®.
